2 00 0 the Askey - Wilson Function Transform

چکیده
In this paper we present an explicit (rank one) function transform which contains several Jacobi-type function transforms and Hankel-type transforms as degenerate cases. The kernel of the transform, which is given explicitly in terms of basic hypergeometric series, thus generalizes the Jacobi function as well as the Bessel function. The kernel is named the Askey-Wilson function, since it provides an analytical continuation of the Askey-Wilson polynomial in its degree. In this paper we establish the L-theory of the Askey-Wilson function transform, and we explicitely determine its inversion formula.

An Expansion Formula for the Askey-Wilson Function
The Askey-Wilson function transform is a q-analogue of the Jacobi function transform with kernel given by an explicit non-polynomial eigenfunction of the Askey-Wilson second order q-difference operator. The kernel is called the Askey-Wilson function. In this paper an explicit expansion formula for the Askey-Wilson function in terms of Askey-Wilson polynomials is proven. With this expansion form...

متن کاملA Paley-wiener Theorem for the Askey-wilson Function Transform
We define an analogue of the Paley-Wiener space in the context of the Askey-Wilson function transform, compute explicitly its reproducing kernel and prove that the growth of functions in this space of entire functions is of order two and type ln q−1, providing a Paley-Wiener Theorem for the Askey-Wilson transform. Up to a change of scale, this growth is related to the refined concepts of expone...
متن کاملFourier transforms on the quantum SU(1,1) group
The main goal is to interpret the Askey-Wilson function and the corresponding transform pair on the quantum SU(1, 1) group. A weight on the C *-algebra of continuous functions vanishing at infinity on the quantum SU(1, 1) group is studied, which is left and right invariant in a weak sense with respect to a product defined using Wall functions. The Haar weight restricted to certain subalgebras a...

We study the algebraic properties of the five-parameter family H(t1, t2, t3, t4; q) of double affine Hecke algebras of type C ∨ C1. This family generalizes Cherednik's double affine Hecke algebras of rank 1. It was introduced by Sahi and studied by Noumi and Stokman as an algebraic structure which controls Askey-Wilson polynomials. We show that if q = 1, then the spectrum of the center of H is ...
